About
My name is Olena Kyrylova, and I am a psychotherapist working in a psychoanalytic approach. I offer counselling and psychotherapy for adults and couples. I have over 4000 hours of practice in relationships, self-esteem, anxiety and the search for self. I help people understand themselves better, listen to their own needs and feel freer in their lives.
My philosophy
My therapeutic philosophy is to help a person identify and use their strengths to resolve current and long-standing problems. It is important to explore your own unique way of being with yourself, with others and with the world around you.
Confidentiality
Confidentiality is one of the most important principles in the relationship between client and psychotherapist. Your information is not disclosed to third parties without your permission. The only exceptions are situations of violence against minors or a threat to life — yours or others'.
Who I work with
I work with adults aged 21+ and with couples. People come with questions of relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, the search for self and identity, as well as during family crises.
Why psychoanalysis
Psychoanalysis is a depth method that helps find the root of a problem, work through it and gain new experience and inner supports. It is one of the most effective ways to achieve a lasting effect from therapy. In my work I combine classical methods with modern knowledge from neuropsychology.
