Relationships and married life

When your partner doesn't hear you, arguments are frequent, and being together no longer feels happy.

When a partner “doesn't hear” you, arguments go in circles, and being together no longer feels as warm as before — it doesn't mean the relationship is doomed. More often, unspoken needs and old patterns lie behind the conflicts, and they can be seen and changed.

People come with this request when they feel lonely as a couple, lose interest, feel tension after the birth of a child, or sense that they speak different languages.

How I work with this request

In couples therapy we create a space safe enough to lower the emotional temperature and move from mutual blame to understanding. You learn to hear each other and negotiate rather than “win” the argument. If needed, part of the work can be done individually.
